Summary: (High school AU) Ryan just wanted to finish high school and make it to college so he worked (sometimes even odd jobs) to save up. When he transferred to Vegas for his final year, he found out that sometimes, money is the least of one’s worries. Like in his case, it was his face.

Summary: AU. Brendon and Ryan meet under seemingly average, normal circumstances. Brendon is an average novel and Ryan is working as a musician at a jazz club for Brendon's father, and when they finally meet it's as if it was meant to be. They embark on the journey of their almost-adult lives as do most young couples-by getting married, buying a house and starting a family. However, Brendon is soon diagnosed with familial Alzheimer's Disease, an amazingly rare and hereditary form of AD that afflicts people aged from 30 to 60 years. He doesn't understand on how it came to him really early at the age of 23... As his memory deteriorates, Brendon begins to lose his connection to Ryan and to his loved ones, and Ryan learns what it really means to love.
Disclaimer: "This is real! They are completely in love with each other!" Yeah right... Well, that's what I thought.

Author Notes: I changed a few bits in this and I think it went well. Something just confused me, why is the summary in the present tense while the story was written in the past tense? Don't ask why, cause I don't have no idea. XD More at the end ♥
Chapter Summary:
He reached the bus stop and luckily it was just about leave. He entered the bus and inhaled the familiar scent of Vegas. He missed this. He missed being in Vegas and the happy memories he had here. He could see some old classmates he used to go with in High School, but none of them could recognize Brendon. Did he really changed into someone so different that his old classmates couldn't even tell that he was Brendon Urie? He couldn't actually find the answer for that, because he didn't want to find out if it was the truth...

The bus was not yet moving, he started digging his messenger bag for his wallet and soda. Where the fuck is it?, Brendon thought.

Brendon got out of the bus and started cursing while walking at the sidewalks of Vegas.

The empire strikes back

In recent weeks, we've taken huge steps towards blocking spam accounts on LiveJournal. In fact, we've suspended as many as 30,000 accounts in a single day! We've implemented several pre-emptive measures to prevent the creation of spam accounts, and we've honed our detection of suspicious content. Spam bots are a crafty lot, so we'll continue to refine our tactics and keep up the good fight to keep you safe from spam attacks on LiveJournal.

RSS feeds again

If you're addicted to [info]xkcd_rss, [info]icanhaschzbrgr, or other syndicated feeds, we're pleased to report that we've resolved the update error that was mucking up your RSS feeds. While content was being pulled correctly, it wasn't being posted to the feeds themselves. Late last week, we finally nailed down what we hope was the root problem, so content should post properly.
